So I recently splashed out a reasonable amount of money on a 40mm pancake lens. An odd focal length some may say, but the lens’ lack of size is lovely. It’s like having nothing attached to the body of my camera.
As the lens is so compact I’ve actually taken my camera more places than usual which is something I started doing last year for a while, but the sheer weight and bulk of carrying a camera with me became a slight burden. Lets see if I can keep it up this time with the pancake!

This was the first time I had met the girls after one of their strength and conditioning training sessions at Plymouth College. I hope to meet up again with them in the new year and take some more portraits in other locations, that will add more context to what kind of sportswomen they are.
